PEER REVIEW PROCESS

All manuscripts submitted to Pharmapedia: Journal of Community Health Service will undergo a peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of the published articles. The review process is conducted through the following stages:

  1. Initial Submission
    Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal’s Open Journal System (OJS). The submitted manuscript must comply with the journal’s author guidelines and template requirements.
  2. Editorial Screening
    The Editor-in-Chief and editorial team conduct an initial evaluation of the manuscript to assess its suitability with the journal’s scope, originality, scientific quality, and adherence to ethical publication standards. Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements may be rejected or returned for revision before proceeding to the review stage.
  3. Peer Review Process
    Eligible manuscripts are reviewed using a double-blind peer review process, in which both the authors’ and reviewers’ identities are concealed. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript topic.
  4. Review Evaluation
    Reviewers assess the manuscript based on several aspects, including:
    • Relevance to the journal scope
    • Originality and novelty
    • Clarity of objectives and methodology
    • Scientific contribution and practical impact
    • Quality of discussion and conclusions
    • Appropriateness of references and citations
  5. Editorial Decision
    Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial team will make one of the following decisions:
    • Accepted without revision
    • Accepted with minor revisions
    • Accepted with major revisions
    • Rejected
  6. Revision Process
    Authors are required to revise the manuscript according to reviewers’ and editors’ comments within the specified time. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by reviewers if necessary.
  7. Final Decision and Publication
    The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding manuscript acceptance. Accepted manuscripts will proceed to copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and publication in the upcoming issue of the journal.
