Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Pharmapedia: Journal of Community Health Service

Aims and Scope

Pharmapedia publishes peer-reviewed, open-access community service articles in pharmacy and health sciences.

General Requirements

Original manuscripts only; not under review elsewhere; comply with COPE; approved by all authors.

Language

English or Indonesian; bilingual title, abstract, and keywords.

Manuscript Preparation

Use the official journal template.

Manuscript Format

A4, 2.5 cm margins, Georgia font, single spacing, one column, 8–15 pages.

Manuscript Structure

Title, Authors, Affiliations, ORCID (optional), Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, Conflict of Interest, Author Contributions, Funding Statement, Data Availability Statement, References.

Title

Maximum 20 words; concise and informative.

Authors and Affiliations

Names without academic titles; complete affiliations; corresponding author email.

Abstract

150–250 words, one paragraph, bilingual, 3–5 keywords.

Introduction

Background, literature review, gap analysis, objectives.

Methods

Describe participants, procedures, intervention, evaluation, and data analysis.

Results and Discussion

Present findings, interpretation, comparison with previous work, implications.

Conclusion

Summarize findings without new data or citations.

Acknowledgements

Recognize funding and contributors.

Conflict of Interest

Declare any conflicts or state none.

References

APA 7th Edition; minimum 25 references; ≥80% journal articles; ≥80% within last 10 years; include DOI where available.

Similarity Check

Maximum similarity index: 25% (excluding references and quotations).

Editorial Process

Editorial screening, similarity check, double-blind review, revision, decision, copyediting, proofreading, publication.

Open Access Policy

Immediate open access.

Copyright Notice

Authors retain copyright; journal receives first publication rights.

Licensing

CC BY-SA 4.0.

Article Processing Charges

No submission fee and no publication fee.
