Abstrak

Literature is one of the means to express one's feelings, experiences, thoughts, and pouring out ideas or ideas. A person can describe his experience either directly or indirectly through literary works. Genres of literary works include poetry, prose and drama. Indonesian literary works in the form of prose include novels and short stories, One of the short story titles that will be studied in critical discourse analysis is a short story titled Sepair Mata Dinaya Yang Terimprisoned by Ni Komang Ariani. The definition of a short story is a relatively short literary work of storytelling, in the form of prose or free essay that contains a simple event or event, and is read once. The critical discourse analysis of the short story titled A Pair of Dinaya Eyes that Are Imprisoned by Ni Komang Ariani uses a feminist perspective approach from Sara Mills. Sara Mills is one of the figures of the feminist movement focusing on what it means to be represented in discourse. Feminist perspective approach (feminist stylistics) Having the goal of explaining what exists in conventional stylistics will become clearer in analyzing discourse. Sara Mills' approach to critical discourse analysis focuses on what women are portrayed in discourse. So far, women have always been excluded and in a bad situation and the women are not given the opportunity to defend themselves.
