Publication Ethics
PUBLICATION ETHICS
Canting Jurnal Batik Indonesia (Canting) always prioritizes ethical behavior by all parties involved in its publication, including authors, editorial boards, peer reviewers, and the publisher. Editors, authors, and reviewers in Canting committed to promoting best practices in publication and are responsible for fulfilling their roles and duties as defined by the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) Code of Conduct for Journal Editors.
The Editorial Board bears the greatest responsibility for preventing publication malpractice. Unethical behaviors such as plagiarism and misconduct during the review and editing processes are strongly discouraged by Canting. Authors must confirm that the submitted manuscript is original and has not been published (in whole or in part) in any other journal and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
